The Sin of David

David only ever committed one sin his whole life. That is saying that in this matter of fidelity to God, there is only one time in David's life where you could point to it and say, as your heart strayed from the Lord in at this point. The problem with idolatry is you have no place to take your sin. And so you just left to deal with your sin on your own. So we're not downplaying the fact that David committed murder and David committed the sexual sin with Bathsheba. What's the real issue here? We're digging deeper.
