In India all the time, temples and churches are full. It's not that everybody there is going there for enlightenment or salvation. They're going there because they want to get a job,. somebody wants a disease to be cured... something like that. This is what Vivekananda calls shopkeeping religion. But this is not the purpose, the ultimate purpose of religion. As long as we do that, it is not spiritual. It is religious.
