The Pros and Cons of Substack

Substack has talked a lot about how they're unabashedly pro writer and every decision they make is pro writer. The problem with asserting your something that you cannot be is that you end up in situations like this weekend, when Substack was blocked by redjacks.com. This move to do a Twitter competitor makes sense for a company that is desperate to justify its valuation but it does not make sense for the writers who are just stuck in the middle.
