Are you sending a message that is pretty cooky cutter, and probably 99 % of other people are sending? Or are you finding a unique angle that you can use to connect with this person. When we apply for this roll, we've gone beyond what everybody else is doing to differentiate ourselves. And the same thing goes for the interview process. So again, one simple question to ask yourself at every stage of the process but a lot of additional work to think about how set yourself apart.
