God Doesn't Do Drive Through Spirituality

In exodus three, we have here what theologians call a theophony. If you do not know what it is, don't ask. I can't figure it out either. Jesus withdrew to desolate, quiet, uninterruptible spaces. God doesn't do drive through spirituality. From what i can tell, if done well, scripture should feel like a detour on the super highway of life. But second, in order to know god, we must be formed by the fire.
