St. Francis says we have to get over our stuffy, puritanical hang-ups in the describing of sexual intercourse. It's not just for satisfaction of those desires as if you were to use each other, but to attend to each other's desires. So it's good to have sexual intercourse in non-fertile periods. And so far as it's, you know, generative life, it's the very power to be get children upbuild the family and contribute to the growing of the church.
