Dada Shikhu's Confluence of the Oceans
Dada Shikhu considered the Upanishads superior to other revealed books. For him, this Sanskrit source could provide the key to unlock deeper meaning of the revelation sent to Mohammed. To press home his point, he wrote a treatise attempting to illustrate the agreement of Islamic and Indian traditions. The phrase is taken from another verse of the Quran and symbolizes the meeting place between the two great religions.
