The Importance of Democracies

In his new book, David Frum argues that democracy deserves three cheers. He says it's good for us because it leads to just and good outcomes sort of defined independently of the procedure. Democracy corrupts us and stultifies us rather than in nobles and enlightens us he writes. But if we can find a better hammer, "we should feel free to use it,"Frum adds.
