"It's one of the most manipulative movies that I've been seeing in terms of being able to get an audience where exactly and because that's what we do we're directors direct people's attention," he says. "I appreciate that as you well know people that go to a film they want to be scared or to laugh or to cry that's about it" He adds: "If you can provide that other level then it can be a masterpiece like Citizen Kane."
