How to Move Toward Someone in Compassion and Love

Karl: There are ways that you can move towards somebody in compassion and love where you can continue to maintain your convictions on a matter like this. A friend of mine who was ministering to a gay couple in his apartment complex, they invited him to their wedding. They were able to say we're unable to attend the wedding, but we would love to catch up with you on the other side of it. And I think that's a way of moving forward. Karl: Can it create opportunities for somebody to say, well, then if I don't have your full affirmation, then I don't really want you in my life? It will create an opportunity for them to make that decision.
