The Race of the Century
The Race of the Century is a new documentary series on Netflix. It tells the history of New York Yacht Club and how they'd had the cup for 185 years. The film opens with John Bertrand saying that to be an elite sportsman you have to 'screw up in the head' So it's so compelling, but there's this sort of dark bit that I don't quite understand. And anyway, it's terrific.
