Monopolies and Monopoly Control

i think part of this is just the whole idea of monopolies. They would not just control the economy around them and who the workers could work for, and stifle wages. And it's been this problem that we've seen. We know that there is major control in terms of money in politics. But you can't really separate out the two m when you talk about monopolies.
