The Importance of Grace in the Christian Life

The goal of sacrificial service in the life of Christians is meant to point to the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ. When people ask you like, wow, it's just my virtue on full display for you to see, that's not the attitude we should have in the church. Paul has been telling us that our doctrine and our duty are married and they must never be divorced. What you believe shapes how you behave. So people matter. There are to be objects of our love. But grace matters because that's what fuels our love.
