Is There Parallelism in the Book of Isaiah?

In one place, you actually see that not consistently, but in some of the Septuagint translations. And I think an approach to biblical poetry that is purely interested in extracting its meaning will want to boil those parallel lines down to maybe one concise statement of meaning and grab that and run. That's sort of way. Well, we talked about the nature of poetry, but I wanted to just read a couple of verses from your translation and have you talk about them a little bit. This is from Isaiah 1, 2, and 3,. O heavens, and give ear O earth for Yahweh has spoken.
