The Importance of Racial Justice in Lincoln's Time

As an adult reading about Lincoln, I found that he did have racist views. A group of black ministers came to the White House and he told them the least white man is superior to the best of your race. And you will never become part of America. Now, there are people who argue, well, you can't judge Lincoln by the, you know, by the moral racial standards of our time. You have to judge him according to his time.
