Last year we talked about Marcel Proust's way and how 150 years after his birth his legacy got so great that a local railway station was renamed after his fictional town. This year we're still celebrating all things Proustian since it's the centenary of his death and we're delighted that the author of Call Me By Your Name find me and more Andre Asimann who is also a professor of comparative literature has written as a beautiful piece this will convince you to tackle Proust if you haven't already despite academia's best attempts to persuade you otherwise. Alaracheurs she says is by no means difficult to read or understand but Ulysses is totally different.
