Is the M1 Abrams the Best Tank for Ukraine?

The M1 Abrams consumes 80% more gas than a leopard would, according to American estimates. The leopard has got a good combination of striking power and armor. But it lacks much combat experience - the tanks were not deployed in Iraq Wars because Germany didn't put troops in harm's way. It will certainly help Ukraine as far as they're concerned but there are serious issues about how it's going to be deployed given its immobility across rivers.
