The Binding Problem in Artificial Intelligence
In his book, jeff makes the powerful argument that thinking is simply traversing a topology of reference and displacement frames in your brain. Jeff says that learning con tual knowledge can be difficult because it's distributed among many nearly identical units. In each unit, knowledge is learned by a motor interaction which means we can learn how i got here almost unaided. It's almost like someone severed all distal connections between parammilal neurons and neuron-like structures such as those found in our brains. This gives us robust planning capabilities with any kind of censor array or modality.
