How Did You Get Your Start on the Tournament Chess?

Deryc Kuznetsov took a lanky break from tournament chess when he was 17. He's been involved in the chess world all along, but it might be kind of hard to separate since you say tournaments are one thing and real life is another. When i stopped playing chess and came back to playing chess, as we can see, I had to learn how to play chess all over again. The theory changed. The openins that i was plain as a kid is not winning, no mole the kids got access to lines on a daily basis in engines or something like that. And then old age takes its toll so  i'm just spending more time here at the board
