The Importance of Location in Transplant Waiting Times
It didn't really occur to me that transplant waiting times is really another factor in many health disparities that are our patients of color phase. And for this reason, I've personally encouraged my patients and have had a lot of patients who are listed in multiple sites. One to two years in the Midwest compared to eight to nine years on the coast. Yeah, yeah, no, it's nuts.
