The Pros and Cons of Hero Quest

Hero Quest isn't visually violent but there's still like an implicit violence in it. Like the ghouls and some of the orcs carrying meat cleavers which I think is just so but cool but you know. Even that Conan looking dude on the cover you know he's killed people. Yeah. There's a couple mechanical problems basically when you're playing it's about getting to a door and making the monsters come through the door at you because almost none of the monsters have ranged attacks. So once they get to the door all three of you wail on them and then they die. It's not so much a board game as it is the Hero Quest battle system with its very light RPG kind
