The Myth of the German Debate on Transformative Science

The social market economy is a kind of mythic, I don't know, basis for scientific research. That does seem to be in some way similar to this moralization you're talking about. It's the idea that we can use the university as instrument to serve the targets defined by society and so on. This is in the background this debate on transformative science as more sustainable university. And so we should be aware of any threat to that. Right.
