The Fallen Human Context
In the American context, I think one of the problems is that many people just assume that history takes care of this. What happens is if that were happening in 1965, then people would just explicitly say, we don't want black or brown people here. Now what happens is that typically people will find some other issue and sort of project all of that hostility toward that issue. It's because that fundamental idolatrous human condition, I think this exposes it really.
