The Box Fever

The description of the music is particularly interesting. So at first, we think it's an ordering music box as we're reading the opening pages of this. Encouraged by his success, Frank proceeded to work on the box feverishly. With each solution, each new half twist or pull a further melodic element was brought into play. It seems somehow to be bigger on the inside than the outside in the sense of the box is something that contains far more than a box could possibly contain. There's a medium specificity to use Clement Greenberg's term to the box as it manifests in each of the iterations of the story, the film and the book.
