I'm Going to Go Fake. That Is Real.
We are at the stage of peak TV. 600 shows this past year. FX head John Landgraf, who famously does his predictions every year, has said this time it's real. We are no longer going to have that volume of show. The economics here say that he's right. Every company is reducing their output or claiming they're going to reduce their output except for Netflix and a lot of their growth is international. I wonder if we are starting to see the post peak TV era play out before our eyes.
