Assassination in the Roman Republic
In rome's mythical history, one of the early kings was murdered by his own daughter. Servius tullius may not have existed, or this may not have happened to him. But what he represents is what we go on to see in a lot of other assassinations in ancient Rome. The myth reflects current status quo exactly wich it often does. Then in the republic, there is increasinglya assassination is used as a way of getting rid of people who are your political opponent,. if they are trying to do something radical.
