The Problem With Seasonal Storage

The efficiency of making electricity into hydrogen lower heating values is about 70% best case. It's never going to get to 100% it, I mean, 100% on a lower heating value basis. So the notion that you can make a cheap commodity like energy or hydrogen as a storage medium for energy does not make sense, right? The other problem is that these equipment, they're expensive. They're not just not cheap. They're very expensive. And so what we'll do is replace black hydrogen with green hydrogen that's made in those good places where we can cheaply make it.
