One of the more pervasive myths that I see, or maybe it's not a myth, is that you've got to restrict carbs and eat a high fat diet to lose fat. The problem with this is just not how fat cells work. Most of the genetics of obesity are not related to fat cell size or insulin. 90% of genes related to obesity are have to eat the brain. There are literally people who think you can live without food. So insane.
