ADHD Medication During Pregnancy

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that 4% of women ages 15 to 44 years old are using ADHD medication in the US, making these medications among the most prescribed medications during pregnancy. The researchers found no changes in the likelihood of developing a neurodevelopmental disorder among children who were exposed to ADHD medication during their mother's pregnancy. Currently, there are no clinical guidelines in relation to pregnancy and ADHD medication, which Chris and Carter side note here really needs to change.
