They must realise that there is just a basic bit of road sense there - leave the riders some room. So when Pog launched his attack around sort of four or five hundred years ago, he basically just had to stop, otherwise he would have been right up the arse, a motorbike. And so your own ass got those bonus seconds, which was a huge boost to his morale,
