The Degradation of Intellectual Integrity in the US

I think it's legitimate to say that the US has not succeeded in producing good outcomes for most of its citizens. At some point, people give up patience with the system and you cannot force anyone to conform to the logic of a system by which they lose. If you don't have culture anymore that is directed on a civilization, you develop a phantom lamp. The spirituality that most people have left in the US is like a phantom lamps. It's basically something that is aimless in seeking and latches onto superstitions.
