Introduction
Paul the Octopus correctly predicted winners of eight World Cup Games. He was so successful that he was eulogised by the BBC in his death. Four years ago at the World Cup we tend to mark us the mystic pig. This year it was a psychic otter called Teyo and an alpaca called Alfie. Why do humans do this? Predicting the future is an impossible dream, but an eternally appealing one.
