The Importance of Preparing Children for the World

So much of this sort of protect the children thinking is about effectively like shielding children as opposed to preparing children for the world. I don't think anyone would think it's a smart idea to raise their kids in Disneyland and then imagine that when they turn to 18 you would suddenly take them out of Disneyland and think that they could operate successfully in the world outside of Disneyland. That's not the way the world works. There are all sorts of problems with this idea that but the one the one thing that people have talked about is using social media more than we currently do.
