The Vertical SaaS Approach - What Other Big Ideas Hooked You?
In the early days of Leadsimple, we talked a lot about whether we were going to be a horizontal SaaS company. But over time, what's proven out is that verticals actually do have things that make them unique. We've seen primarily it's HubSpot that we have displaced inside of property management. The first order problem is really obvious. It's like maintenance or something like that. And maybe the bootstrapping thing has always made us go for these birds with one stone kind of solutions. That's definitely my bent, when I write software, I want it to be useful as many use cases as possible.
