The Evolution of Livestock in the Mediterranean

Ecology did kind of shape the decision-making for what types of animals they had in that changed a bit over time. We see this relationship between ecology and livestock to be stronger in the Bronze Age. In Niberia, that is the place that I know better, they specialized in sheep and goat. But then it changed in Roman times. They started to produce more fork and more cattle and the animals became bigger.
