The Untrustworthiness of Language

LZ: Scrutape is repeatedly talking about language. He's basically saying, as you said, we need to trust language. There's another piece of it in mere christianity - if the universe is meaningless, meaninglessness is itself meaningless. And so i think that lewis and tolken are really kind of actively leading this charge back into a back into the importance of language. Would you both agree? I am pretty convincedaso.
