Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has reestablished bilateral ties with most of the countries in the Arab world. He is expected to go to Saudi Arabia on Friday for the annual Arab League summit and speak there like any other head of state. The bigger goal in all of this is money, says CNN's John Defterios.
