Is There a Significant Jewish Homeless Problem in America?
There's a filter bias for the kinds of immigrants that come to the United States who are actually not looking to get on welfare. I don't know of any city in America that is a lot of homeless population problem to develop to the magnitude of L.A. or San Francisco and then got it back under control. You can find programs that seem to be very humane that are succeeding to the degree we could realistically expect, but it's hard. Even if they reduce the street population by 30, it would steerably a terrible problem.
