Toot: Spanking children is a really weird, wrong thing that is hypernormalized in society. I think you're right that it's been a part of the show very early on. We inculcate children with this idea that to be childish is somehow a negative thing. So we and i thinkthtit really ca stee why often people are trying to prove how serious and adult they are by all these different means.
