Many Labs for Terror Management Theory
Terror management theory, commonly shortened to t m t, states that as humans involved self awareness, they also came to know that their death is in inevitable. To avoid preoccupation with thoughts of death or feelings of meaninglessness, one must manage the potential terror caused by this knowledge. In many labs, for um, half of the set of labs that was assigned to try to replicate the original finding was just sort of, like left to their own devices,. And then half of them were given like, access to expert feedback. This study looked at whether expert involvement made a difference in whether the study replicated.
