ANA: A General Purpose Program for Star Alliance Awards
ANA is wonderful in their award pricing, both for flying ANA itself and for flying Star Alliance partners. But it has a few really big limitations. One is that you have to book round trip. And then like Singapore, miles just hard expire after about three years. If you don't use them all up, you're dead. So my thought on ANA is that it is good for somebody who is flexible and travels a lot.
