The Cycle of Creation
The cycle of creation gives the idea that each element creates the next one in the cycle. Water is the element that nourishes plants and causes plants to grow. So water creates wood, and then wood is the fuel for fire. When you set wood on fire, you get fire. And fire burns into ash, which is dirt or earth. Fire creates earth and down within the earth, there are ores that can be extracted as metals. Earth creates metal from ore, so metal consumes earth, but it can also exhaust it.
