The Importance of Inequality in Conservation and Biodiversity
There are many established biodiversity offsets all over the world. The base idea is that if a project developer is going to have any kind of impact on the environment, they have to compensate a similar kind of nature somewhere else. So these power inequities are something that we try to tease out in our work and really point to the issue of that. Conservation is conservation, but also it's people that are being affected.
