Is There a Difference Between Experts and Experts in Safety?
In the safety profession, we have this big tension between people who've worked in, say, front line occupations and then come into safety. I think i saw instead, a lot of our actual respect for one another, other's experts. So an understanding that these experts are different, and one may be better, or, you know, one may be more appropriate to the task than another. But none the less, at understanding that the knowing, knowing, the knowing the hazard from experience, or knowing it from a modelling perspective, are both valid.
