Dennis Johnson

"I think most of my favorite authors are dead you know one I met was uh oh one person I was reading a lot that time was Dennis Johnson," she says. "He had a very um kind of gee whiz style to his uh he's like oh yeah oh god oh greatYou know he was like wow I guess nerdier hour just kind of like awshucks Midwestern way", the author adds. She also talks about her trip to Central America and meeting Elmore Leonard, among others.
