I'm Not in Favor of Invasions, Right?

i could understand staging an intervention if the russians were invading ukraine with the intention of massacring all the ukraniun right? If this was a genicidal war, well, that might make sense. But i if surrender is an option, then it doesn't make any sense to escalade it. I mean, it seems like even being allowed to kind of peer through the fog of war to get a sense of what's going on, that's just,. well, that's what poton wants you to do, so why are you doing what he wants? There is no saying that's, that's bonkers.
