The Importance of LL Thurstone
LL Thurstone is one of the most important people in this trajectory of measurement and factor analysis. He's a Chicago born and bred went to the University of Chicago, but UNC forced him to retire at age 65. If you go back and read some of his stuff, even in the mid thirties, 1935, he wrote the vectors of mine. And no one has done anything to it since it was built.
