The Tea Party and the 2010 Midterm Elections
Tea Party believes government spending and bailouts have been out of control. They were especially outraged by the 800 billion dollar stimulus package that President Obama had passed in 2009 to get the economy going again. The prospects for Congress and the White House working together to pass another stimulus bill were growing dim. Let this serve as a warning to Congress: We don't work for you. You work for us.
