The Origins of Trading
Robinson: I first got interested in markets in a general sense, at least when I was an undergrad in college. He says his roommate's older brother traded crude oil on the NIMEX and trading was very different then than it is today. "I didn't know exactly how they did what they were doing," he says of long-term trend followers like Rich Dennis or Bill Eckhart. Robinson: My own ideas stemmed from my own interest in games and game theory, specifically gambling and card playing.
