The stylis was designed to be as minimal and non-astrusive as possible. It uses a 'quasi' mode, which is when there's something you're holding down in one hand while doing the action with your other hand. This means that it can only do black ink at first - but then they had to try some other things. They also tried using various quasi odes, which are more like standard tool bars or pallets.
